LIC Housing Finance, one of the largest Housing Finance companies in India, announced that Siddhartha Mohanty has resigned as MD & CEO of the company, effective from 01 February, 2021. He is succeeded by Y Viswanatha Gowd as new CEO & MD.
“This is to inform you that Shri Siddhartha Mohanty, MD & CEO, has resigned from the Board of LIC Housing Finance Limited with effect from 01st February, 2021 and Shri Y Viswanatha Gowd has been appointed in his place as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the Company, being a Key Managerial Person (KMP), with effect from the same date i.e. 1st February, 2021,” the exchange filing said.
Incorporated on 19th June, 1989 under the Companies Act, 1956, LIC Housing Finance was promoted by LIC of India and went public in the year 1994. The Company is registered with National Housing Bank and listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) & Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE).
