South Indian Bank appoints Lakshmi Ramakrishna Srinivas to its Board

South Indian Bank Limited (SIB), one of the leading and fastest growing private sector banks in India, announced the appointment of Lakshmi Ramakrishna Srinivas as Non-Executive Independent Director on the company’s Board, with effect from November 20, 2023.

According to the company’s exchange filing, “Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligation & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations 2015, we hereby inform that Ms. Lakshmi Ramakrishna Srinivas (DIN: 10365580) has been appointed by the Board of the Bank as Additional Director (Non-Executive Independent Director) w.e.f. November 20, 2023.”

Lakshmi Ramakrishna Srinivas, aged 60 years, is a Seasoned banker with extensive work experience of over 38 years in State Bank of India, banking behemoth, in various capacities. She holds BA (Hons), MA, CAIIB-Part-I. She started her banking career as a probationary officer of State Bank of India in 1985 and has superannuated as Chief General Manager & Head-Strategic Training Unit in June, 2023.
