Swan Energy Limited announced the appointment of Kundan Bhanawat as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Earlier, he was with JMJ Group as Chief Executive Officer.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “it is hereby informed that the company has appointed Mr. Kundan Bhanawat as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Company with immediate effect.”
Kundan Bhanawat hoIds a Bachelor of Engineering degree, specializing in Chemical and Bachelor of Pharmacy from BITS, Pilani.
He has 39 years of rich and diverse experience in Projects and operations in a wide range of industries comprising Organic Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Power Projects, Textiles and Technical Textiles, High Pressure Cylinders and Real Estate with Companies like Novartis, Reliance, Tata Group, Indian Organic etc.
Swan Energy Limited (SEL) was originally incorporated in 1909 as Swan Mills Ltd. (SML), a manufacturer and marketer of cotton and polyester textile products in India. Today it is owned and managed by Dave and Merchant families who took over the Company from J.P Goenka Group in 1992.
