Titagarh Wagons Limited, a flagship company of the Titagarh group, which has morphed itself from a wagon manufacturer for Indian Railways to a multinational engineering and fabrication group, announced the appointment of Saurav Singhania as Joint Chief Financial Officer of the company. Anil Kumar Agarwal, Director (Finance) & CFO gets additional charge of Chief Business & Risk Officer, with effect from November 28, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held today has assigned additional role of Chief Business and Risk Officer to Mr. Anil Kumar Agarwal, Director (Finance) & CFO with effect from November, 28, 2022; and appointed Mr. Saurav Singhania as Joint Chief Financial Officer (Jt. CFO) of the Company w.e.f. 28th November, 2022 designated as Joint CFO and Group Financial Controller.”
Anil Kumar Agarwal is the Chief Financial Officer of the Company since 8th December, 2006. He holds a Bachelor`s degree in Commerce from Calcutta University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Cost Accountant from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He has rich experience of over twenty years in finance, accounts, and other corporate functions. He was appointed as Director (Finance) of the Company on 29th May, 2019 and designated as Director (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer.
Saurav Singhania, aged 38 years is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has about 15 years’ experience in varied fields viz. Strategy, planning, auditing, accounting, finance, corporate & fund raising etc. He has been working with the Company as Group Finance Controller since the past 8 years.
