UCO Bank Limited announced the appointment of Rajesh Kumar to its Board of Directors.
Rajesh Kumar, Chief General Manager of Reserve Bank of India (RBI), has over three decades of experience with RBI, handling diverse portfolios covering almost the entire gamut of major functions of RBI including, inter alia, banking supervision, financial inclusion and development, human resource management etc.
He has served as Banking Ombudsman of Gujarat State for more than two years. He was on deputation with the Central Bureau of Investigation for five years. He has also served as Regional Director for Uttarakhand for over three years.
He has previously served on the Boards of a Public and a Private sector bank. He is presently serving as Regional Director for the state of Gujarat at RBI, Ahmedabad.
