Ujjivan Financial Services Limited announced the appointment of Ittira Davis as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, with effect from January 14, 2022.
According to the bank’s exchange filing, “Please be informed that the RBI vide their letter dated January 12, 2022 addressed to the Bank has approved the appointment of Mr. Ittira Davis as the MD & CEO of the Bank subject to his resignation from the Board of ‘Ujjivan Financial Services Limited’. As notified by the Bank he will be taking charge as its MD & CEO effective from January 14, 2022.”
Earlier, Davis served as Chief Operating Officer at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited. Prior to that, he served on the Board level in companies like Europe Arab Bank, Parinaam Foundation, Arab Bank and served as Manager – World Corporate Group at Citi Bank India.
Davis holds an MBA from IIM – Ahmedabad and a B.Com degree from St. Joseph’s College of Commerce.
