Union Bank Of India has appointed Dr. Jayadev Madugula as Director for three years, effective from June 28, 2021.
In terms of Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we wish to inform you Dr. Jayadev M. is elected as the Director from amongst the shareholders of the Bank other than the Central Government in terms of Section 9(3)(i) of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970, the bank said in its regulatory filing.
Dr. Jayadev Madugula is a Post Graduate in Commerce and Ph.D. in
Business Management. Presently, he is Professor of Finance &
Accounting at IIM, Bangalore.
He has rich experience of teaching not only in premier institutions in
India but also as a Visiting Professor in various universities abroad.
He has published various books and research articles in national and
international journals and has won various awards and accolades in
the field of education. He was the Shareholder of the Union Bank of
India from June 28, 2018 to June 27, 2021. He is a member of Board
of Directors of Spin Technologies Pvt. Ltd, and Yagnam Ventures Pvt. Ltd.
