Union Bank of India appoints Kanika Pasricha as Chief Economic Advisor

Union Bank of India Limited (UBI), a leading public sector bank in India, announced the appointment of Kanika Pasricha as Chief Economic Advisor (CEA), with effect from January 23, 2024.

According to the Bank’s exchange filing, “In terms of Regulation 30 read with Clause No. 7 of Para A of Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we wish to inform you that Ms. Kanika Pasricha has been appointed as the Chief Economic Advisor of the Bank.”

Kanika Pasricha, aged 38 years is an economist with more than 15 years of experience. She is a MA (Economics) from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University and a Graduate in Arts (Economics) from Delhi University.

Earlier, she worked as an Economist (Director) – Global Research, Standard Chartered Bank. She was involved in in-depth research and extensive data analysis to link macro parameters with market metrics.

She has also worked as a Economist (Chief Manager) with ICICI Bank Ltd.
