United Breweries MD & CEO Rishi Pardal resigns

United Breweries Limited announced that Rishi Pardal has resigned from the role of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company.

According to the company’s exchange filing, “Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligation and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, this is to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held today took on record the resignation of Mr. Rishi Pardal, Managing Director & CEO. Mr. Rishi Pardal has tendered his resignation on February 16, 2023, and accordingly his 6 months’ notice period commences.”

Rishi came to UBL from Avery Dennison Corporation, a Fortune 500 Company which he joined in November 2010 as Vice President and Managing Director of Retail Brand and Information Solutions, South Asia. In 2014, Rishi was appointed to the position of Vice President and General Manager, North Asia. In June 2017, he was promoted to his last position i.e., Vice President of Global Apparel Solutions for Retail Brand and Information Solutions and was a Member of Corporate Leadership Team of Avery Dennison Corporation.

Prior to Avery Dennison Corporation, Rishi was Managing Director of Marico Bangladesh Limited, following a 14-year career in various Management roles with Hindustan Unilever Limited. He has extensive experience in sales and customer development, marketing, corporate governance, brand equity and talent development.

Rishi has completed his Masters’ Program in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. He has also completed various functional, leadership and Management Development Programs from Northwestern-Kellogg’s, IMD and Harvard Business School.
