Vaibhav Global appoints Stephanie Spong to its Board

Vaibhav Global Limited announced the appointment of Stephanie Renee Spong as Independent Director, effective September 06, 2021.

According to the exchange filing, “We wish to inform you, that the Board of Directors of the Company today has inter‐alia noted and approved the appointment of Ms. Stephanie Renee Spong (DIN ‐ 09295604) as an Independent Director on the Board of the Company pursuant to the recommendation of Nomination, Remuneration & Compensation Committee, to hold office for a term of two years commencing from 6th September, 2021 to 5th September, 2023, subject to the approval of shareholders, whose office shall not be liable to retire by rotation.”

Stephanie Spong is a venture capitalist with over three decades of professional experience in strategy, operations, and finance, working with both start‐ups and established companies in the U.S., Japan, Hong Kong, and Mexico. She brings seasoned business judgement and financial skills, and as Managing Director of Razorfish’s Los Angeles office, she gained valuable operating experience and immersion in the Digital space. Her previous experience includes Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Citibank, EPIC Ventures, and Monitor Group.

She is currently a partner with Royal Street Ventures, an early‐stage venture capital fund, serving on the boards of U.S.‐based portfolio companies Trelora and Art and Craft Entertainment. For over a decade, Spong has supported fast‐ growth start‐ups in tech‐enabled industries as a board member and board observer/adviser.

Spong is a graduate of Brigham Young University and earned her MBA from Harvard Business School.
