MMTC Limited announced the appointment of Vibhu Nayar as Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the company, effective March 1, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “it is hereby informed that Shri Vibhu Nayar, IAS(TN:1990) has assumed the charge of CMD, MMTC Limited (additional charge) w.e.f. 1st March, 2022 pursuant to Deptt. of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt of India Office order No. A-12022/20/2019-E-IV dated 24.2.2022 vice Shri Sanjay Chadha, Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, MOC&I.”
Vibhu Nayar is a member of the Indian Administrative Service and Senior Policy Maker in India with three decades of Experience in PSUs, Projects and Policy Implementation. He has led many mega infrastructure projects in collaboration with World Bank and other multi-lateral financial institutions. He is currently ‘Executive Director’ at the ‘India Trade Promotion Organisation’ (ITPO) under the Department of Commerce, Government of India, New Delhi, the statement said.
