Whirlpool announced the appointment of Narasimhan (Nachi) Eswar as Managing Director of Whirlpool of India Limited (Whirlpool India), effective April 4, 2023.
Eswar’s appointment comes as Vishal Bhola, current Managing Director, Whirlpool India, has decided to leave the company to pursue other interests. Eswar will be joining Whirlpool on March 1, 2023, and Bhola will remain with the company until April 3, 2023, in order to assist with Eswar’s transition, the statement said.
Eswar has over 30 years of experience in building brands and businesses, mostly with Procter & Gamble and then Reckitt Benckiser in leadership roles in marketing and management across India and other countries. Eswar is currently the CEO and President of Ki Mobility Solutions Pvt Ltd., one of the major automotive aftermarket players in India.

Regarding Bhola’s service to Whirlpool India, Uppal said, “We thank Vishal for his many contributions at Whirlpool India.
