Writer Relocations has appointed industry veteran Vishal Agarwal as its new Regional Head for India and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. In this newly announced role, Agarwal will be responsible for overseeing both domestic relocations within India and international moves, especially across the Gulf region.
With over 20 years of experience in relocation and logistics, Agarwal steps in at a time when mobility and cross-border workforce movement are seeing renewed traction. He will focus on strengthening operational systems, improving customer experience, and driving growth from both corporate and individual clientele.
“The relocation industry is at an inflection point driven by global workforce mobility, enterprise expansion, and rising service expectations,” Agarwal said. “At Writer Relocations, the opportunity lies in leveraging our strong foundation to build agile, technology-led systems that can scale seamlessly across markets.”
Agarwal’s past roles include leadership stints at Interem and Santa Fe Relocation, where he led regional operations across India and South Asia. His earlier experience at Honeywell and Al-Futtaim equipped him with a strong background in sales and service delivery — areas that will be crucial as Writer Relocations looks to strengthen its foothold in key growth markets.
His appointment signals a broader shift within the company as it looks to modernize and scale its offerings in response to evolving client needs across geographies.
