Pioneering Ventures, a food and technology platform company based in India and Switzerland, has announced the appointment of Yashasvini Kumar as Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Yashasvini Kumar will be based out of both Mumbai and Switzerland.
Peter Ackermann, PV’s outgoing General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, will move to the role of Strategic Advisor, according to a statement.
Yashasvini Kumar will continue her duties as Co-CEO of Pioneering Ventures India, the company said.
In her new role, Yashasvini Kumar will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, direction and assistance on various legal, regulatory, compliance and business matters across a geographic footprint of 3 continents and 8 countries.
An integral part of the PV India team since 2017, Yashasvini Kumar has been critical in ensuring a seamless corporate consolidation and restructuring of the PV Group.
As Chief Legal Officer for PV India, she was instrumental in building HR, Legal and compliance functions into robust self-sustainable units.
Before joining PV, Yashasvini Kumar was a lawyer with Platinum Partners and the M&A team in Trilegal, two of India’s leading law firms. She graduated from NALSAR and has 11 years of professional experience.
