GMR Energy Limited (GEL) a subsidiary of GMR Infrastructure Limited, has commissioned its first 25 MW Solar Power Plant at Patan district in Gujarat at a cost of Rs 300 crore. This plant also marks GMR Group’s foray into the Renewable Energy space.
The 25 MW grid interactive Solar Power Project was executed through GMR Gujarat Solar Power Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of GMR Energy.
In the first week of this year, Adani Power has commissioned its first 40-Mw solar power plant in Bitta village of Kutch district, Gujarat, has plans to expand it to 100 Mw.
