IRCON appoints Shyam Lal Gupta as Director (Projects)

Shyam Lal Gupta has been appointed on the Board of IRCON as Director (Projects) by replacing Deepak Sabhlok. Shyam Lal Gupta was deputed in IRCON by Indian Railways Service of Engineers as a General Manager in November, 2006 and thereafter was permanently absorbed in IRCON since 2011.

He was Executive Director (General) in IRCON before being appointed as Director (Projects). Under his supervision, many projects were completed within the scheduled time in Sri Lanka. Shyam Lal Gupta is currently in charge of railway projects in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Sri Lanka. 

Shyam Lal Gupta has also been nominated as Part-Time Director on the Board of many JV/Subsidiary Companies of lrcon International Limited.
