Infosys, a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, today announced a significant expansion of its strategic collaboration with AGCO Corporation, a renowned global manufacturer of agricultural machinery and precision agriculture technology. This renewed engagement aims to revolutionize AGCO’s IT infrastructure and human resources operations through advanced digital solutions, automation, and AI-first approaches.

Building on an existing relationship that dates back to at least March 2018, where Infosys has been instrumental in enhancing AGCO’s customer experience and dealer services, this expanded partnership will focus on three key areas:

IT Infrastructure Optimization: Leveraging cutting-edge offerings like Infosys Cobalt, including its Infosys Polycloud platform, and advanced automation technologies, Infosys will simplify, standardize, and optimize AGCO’s IT ecosystem.

The goal is to improve service consistency, reduce operational costs, and make AGCO’s IT systems more adaptable and less reliant on manual processes. Infosys will also utilize generative AI, powered by Infosys Topaz, for knowledge management, problem analysis, categorization, and incident resolution, ensuring access to next-gen tools vital for AGCO’s growth trajectory.

HR Operations Transformation: In collaboration with Infosys’ Business Process Management (BPM) practice, this initiative will focus on elevating the employee experience, streamlining HR processes, and driving efficiency within AGCO’s human resource functions. This includes automating and standardizing internal HR workflows to reduce complexity and improve overall employee services.

Global Service Delivery Enhancement: The partnership will improve the global service delivery framework across AGCO’s operations by implementing responsive IT solutions and scalable automation tools.
Viren Shah, Chief Digital & Information Officer, AGCO, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, stating, “Collaborating with Infosys is intended to enable us to create a responsive, streamlined and innovative operational ecosystem within IT and other functions that allows our teams to focus on critical and strategic initiatives that center on the farmer. This partnership aligns with our ‘Farmers First’ commitment by fostering a smoother and more efficient system.”

Jasmeet Singh, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Manufacturing at Infosys, added, “By leveraging our strengths in AI, automation, and digital expertise, our collaboration with AGCO reflects Infosys’ commitment to delivering tangible outcomes that drive enhanced user experience, efficiencies, and lower operational costs.”

This extended partnership underscores Infosys’ proven track record in large-scale IT transformations and its commitment to supporting global enterprises in operational optimization. Infosys, with over 320,000 employees operating in more than 59 countries, continues to amplify human potential and create new opportunities through its digital services and consulting expertise.
