Bengaluru-based edtech startup Ken42 raises Rs11 cr fresh funding led by Turbostart

Ken42, an integrated education platform that caters to evolving needs of institutions and students, bringing them the best of edtech, content, and affiliations, announced that it has raised a funding round of Rs 11 crore led by Turbostart, a national programme for early stage startups. 

Other investors that took part in the funding round include Muralidhara C, Managing Partner, Murali & Co, Advocates and Mohan Raju Manthena, Director, SRK Infrastructure.

The platform allows institutions to plan, schedule and automate actions and combine them with existing learning management systems, web classroom service and HR platforms, according to Founder and CEO Ganesh Raju who started the company in October 2019.

Ganesh Raju said that the demand for consolidating document management systems had also increased in the last few months. Institutions currently manage their administration and processes through multiple platforms.

The startup said that it has a series of “strategic alliances and long-standing relationships with premier educational institutions and governmental organizations” which are helping it stay closely aligned to educational policy and change.

The platform helps institutions with student acquisition, student management and with connecting different campuses across the common platform, among some of its functions.

For teachers the platform allows content creation (video, audio and graphic content), student performance, grading and testing. It allows enrolled students also with career development features like internships, events and workshops among other functions.
