BeYouPlus raises $3.2m in Series A

BeYouPlus, a Delhi-based healthcare platform, has raised $3.2 million in its Series A funding round, led by IvyCap Ventures. It was founded by Ankit Khurana in 2014 (previously known as MyDermacy). Other investors in this funding round are – Madison Capital and Singapore Angel Network.

Earlier it had raised an undisclosed amount of seed capital from Cyber Carrier, Ganesh Ventures and a bunch of angel investors including the former President of Fortis Healthcare Daljit Singh.

The company will utilise the fund for strengthen its technology stack and to expand its services across geographies. The company plans to expand its dermatology treatment across 15-20 cities in the next 18 months.

BeYouPlus has developed a model wherein it can offer highly specialised doctors with a procedural solution to add to their outpatient department (OPD) practice. The firm manages the end-to-end delivery of services, and currently focuses on dermatology services, with plans to expand to other specialties in the future. Apart from local clinics, BeYouPlus also has an online platform which bring customers into the clinics.
