Boomi accelerates global expansion with further investment in Japan

Boomi, the intelligent connectivity and automation company, announced the expansion of its cloud data center footprint in Japan to accelerate the deployment of its category-leading integration platform as a service (iPaaS) solutions as demand across Asia-Pacific continues to grow.

According to a Japan Keyman’s Net survey on the usage of iPaaS, due to the rapid growth of teleworking, respondents commented on the need to utilize data accumulated in core systems through system integration, expressing a growing desire for data integration and business automation to improve operational efficiency, the statement said.

Boomi’s significant expansion in Japan addresses an increased demand in integration and business automation needs across the region, and enhances localization and support of its award-winning products and services for its more than 20,000 customers and 800 partners worldwide. The company will also further strengthen its 100,000-strong Boomiverse user community with tailored, regional information and resources as it aims to make the world a better place by connecting everyone to everything, anywhere, the statement said.

Boomi’s Japanese cloud data center provides a dedicated location to advance the deployment of the Boomi AtomSphere Platform and Master Data Hub service, a cloud-native master data management (MDM) solution that also provides enhanced compliance and data sovereignty for existing customers.

“The expansion of Boomi’s cloud data center footprint in Japan underscores our commitment to deliver timely, cloud-based integration services to a growing market,” said Kazunori Hori, Head of Business Development, Japan at Boomi. “With this investment, Boomi will further drive better business outcomes for customers across the region.”

Notable global brands and recognized Japanese companies including Dell Technologies, DNP Information Systems, JERA Corporation, and many other organizations across industries, rely on Boomi’s cloud-native platform to meet their system integration, connectivity, and automation needs.

Boomi boasts one of the largest arrays of global systems integrators (GSIs) in the iPaaS space, including Accenture, Deloitte, SAP, and Snowflake; and partners with the three largest hyperscaler cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services, Google, and Microsoft, among others. The company will grow its relationships with partners in Japan, developing joint initiatives to further meet customer demand.

Recently, Boomi announced a new partnership agreement with Nomura Research Institute (NRI), Ltd., a leading global provider of consulting services and system solutions in Japan. Boomi and NRI launched services for IT modernization and data integration use cases in all industries, based on a mutual understanding of the value of iPaaS for business operations in today’s digital economy.

“In recent years, the corporate IT domain rapidly increased the use of cloud services,” said Hideki Saito, Senior Managing Director, DX Platform Division at NRI. “The Boomi platform will help our clients meet their IT modernization and data integration needs, and together, we will contribute to solving many of their most pressing business challenges.”
