Fintech platform Karbon Card raises funding from Y Combinator

Bengaluru-headquartered Corporate Credit Card startup Karbon Card, which offers 24-hour sign-up Corporate Credit Card for small businesses and Startups, has announced that it has raised funding from Y Combinator.

The platform aims to utilize the funds raised for product development, hiring, and operations.

The company said, “it feels a YC tag would help the company create more value in the Indian startup ecosystem, and help mitigate the biggest challenge of convincing startups about the existence of a product like Karbon.”

“The rapidly growing Indian startup ecosystem needs solutions like Karbon Card. Moreover, there are more than 40 million small and medium businesses in India. Karbon is well-positioned to serve this huge untapped market,” added Hershel Mehta, Co-founder at 2 AM VC, a Karbon Card investor.
