GAIL announced it has plans to invest in startups operating in Focus Areas, which mainly includes natural gas, petrochemicals ,energy, project management, bio-manure marketing, Nano materials, IoT, data mining, environment, health and social.

Pankh was launched in 2017 with an aim to invest in promising Start-ups. Till now, it has made investments in 28 Start-Ups operating in various Areas.

“In a bid to support the Start-Ups operating in identified Focus Areas, GAIL (India) Limited announced its plans to invest in such companies through its Start-Up initiative ‘Pankh’,” the exchange filing said.

“The Solicitation Round is open from March 30, 2021 to May 30, 2021,” GAIL said.

“Our Mission for Start-Up Initiative is to Identify, Invest and Nurture Start-Ups that can become successful companies in the long run and provide profitable returns from this diversification,” GAIL added.
