Hyderabad-based AI-led recruitment platform TurboHire raises $1 mn in seed funding

TurboHire, an Intelligent Recruitment platform that specializes in talent acquisition and candidate discovery, announced that it has raised $1 million in a seed funding round led by Pentathlon Ventures. 

The funding round saw participation from Kia Ora Ventures as well as individual investors Monish Darda, Sanjay Balram and Prabir Jha among others, TurboHire said in a press release. 

The startup will use the current financing to fuel expansion. The company has plans to expand to global markets and deepen the intelligence with automated interviews, the firm said. 

Commenting on the development, Deepak Agrawal, CEO of TurboHire, said, “The firm is now working on enhancing user experience in the self-service model. Covid-19 and its effects on the job market have served to augment the demand for faster recruitment tools and we are looking at a significant growth globally over the coming years.”

Founded in 2018 by Abhishek Kabra, Aman Gour, Deepak Agrawal, Gaurav Kumar and Rakesh Nayak, Turbohire claims it is transforming the way companies are recruiting with the help of machine learning and data sciences.
