Info Edge Ventures lands ₹375 crore from Temasek

Info Edge Ventures has secured Rs 375 crore from Singapore government’s investment firm – Temasek.

Speaking on the investment, Amit Behl, Partner, Info Edge Ventures said – “This decade shall be an exciting time for startups as the pace of technology adoption increases dramatically in India. We look forward to partnering with talented founders and like-minded investors to create world class businesses.”

The early-stage venture capital fund is backed by Info Edge and Temasek. It invests in technology companies across Seed to Series A financing rounds.

Info Edge was incorporated on May 1, 1995 under the Companies Act, 1956 as Info Edge (India) Private Limited and became a public limited company on April 27, 2006. 

With a network of 62 offices located in 43 cities throughout India, Info Edge has 4,049 employees engaged in innovation, product development, integration with mobile and social media, technology and technology updation, research and development, quality assurance, sales, marketing and payment collection.
