Kiko TV bags funds from 9Unicorns, angel investors

Launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, after the Indian government’s ban on Chinese apps, Kiko Tv has secured undisclosed seed investment from 9Unicorns and angel investors including  Vinayak Srivastava, Saket Dandotia, Sunil Kumar Singhvi, and Srinivas Kotta.

Shivam Varshney, Founder, KIKO TV, said on the investment“We believe 9Unicorns and Dr. Apoorva Ranjan Sharma are ideal investors and mentors for the long journey ahead for KIKO TV. We are very excited and enthusiastic about this partnership. KIKO will be using the funds for building and improving our technology and expanding our customer base.”

Founded in 2020 by IIT Bombay alumni Shivam Varshney and Alok Chawla, KIKO TV is an influencer-led video and live shopping platform that claims to allow users to earn coins while being entertained and use the coins for shopping instantly.
