Sapience Automata raises Rs 1.75 cr in seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures

AI powered driver assistance technology startup Sapience Automata has raised INR 1.75 CR in a Seed Round led by Inflection Point Ventures.

The funds will be utilized for growing sales for Driver camera, building key partnerships in the automotive domain, continuing to develop Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) technology, and filing international patents, a statement said.

Sapience Automata, founded in 2021, is a pioneering startup focused on revolutionizing road safety in India through plug-and-play driver assistance technology. Their goal is to eliminate accidents by leveraging advanced AI and autonomous driving tech. Sapience Automata aims to make cutting-edge safety solutions accessible to all drivers.

Satyajit Neogi, the Founder, Chief Executive & Technology Officer, brings over 8 years of experience in self-driving cars and AI, holding a PhD from NTU Singapore. Unmesh Dabhade, the Co-Founder and Product Head, has over 6 years of expertise in IoT and software development, holding a Master’s from VJTI. Together, they lead Sapience Automata’s mission to innovate road safety technology, according to the statement.

Operating primarily from Bangalore, Sapience currently focuses on commercial fleets, laying the foundation for future expansion and scalability in the Indian B2C market, a statement said.
