SEAL Professional secures undisclosed investment from Equanimity Ventures

Bayside Media Private Limited, which operates a flagship management training program called SEAL Professional has recently announced that it secured an undisclosed amount of investment in the Pre Series A round from Mumbai-based venture capital fund Equanimity Ventures.

The company plans to use these funds for program support, development, and marketing. The company also aims to focus on innovation and geographical expansion.

Rajesh Sehgal, Managing Partner, Equanimity Ventures, said, “Lack of skilled workforce has been a key concern for employers in India. SEAL Professional is a great effort by Shyaam Santhakumar and his team to systematically train undergraduate students preparing them for the real-world job market. We believe this is a pertinent problem being solved at a scale which can transform the lives of students and employees in India”.

SEAL was set up in 2016 to train undergraduate students in management and leadership skills. It also assists them with internships and placements. The company claims that over 4,000 students have taken up the course and 1,800 of them have been successfully placed in companies like Flipkart, Aditya Birla Group, Zara and Calvin Klein.
