Japan’s TechnoPro to hire 10000 engineers & researchers in India by 2022-23

Japanese tech firm TechnoPro Holdings Inc., has announced their plans to hire 10,000 engineers and researchers in India over the next three years. Earlier this week, the company inaugurated global delivery centre at Bangalore. TechnoPro current plans for India will be focussing the Electric Vehicle sector. 

As per a statement to media, Director and Managing Executive Officer of TechnoPro Holdings Inc, Shimaoka Gaku said, “The company has ambitious plans of expanding in India by setting up a Global Delivery and Technical Innovation Centre in Bengaluru and to ramp up employment.”

TechnoPro, Inc. is an integration of four TechnoPro Group companies that specialize in design and research and development. The company has more than 10,000 engineers and researchers. It is one of Japan’s largest technology-focused staffing and service companies. In India, the company has its presence since 2017. It has R&D centers in Hyderabad and Pune and has recently opened a global delivery center in Bengaluru. The company’s present focus will be on building charging and battery swapping infrastructure in the country. 

Jayant Kumar, who will head the company’s operations in India, said, “From the perspective of Information Technologies and its application into industries such as automotive and manufacturing, the increasing demand for smart mobility has compelled us to look for high-end engineers,” Adding to it, he said, “We have decided to invest in India in a phased manner to cater to the growing demands of a complicated and complex technology with the help of Indian talent base.”
