Higher ed-tech company – upGrad is planning to cover the entire cost of Covid-19 vaccination for its employees and their family members. The COVID-19 vaccination drive will include all employees and former employees given they choose to receive the vaccine.
Co-founder & Chairman – Ronnie Screwvala, Co-founder and MD – Mayank Kumar and Co-founder, upGrad – Phalgun Kompalli, said in a joint statement, “The health and wellbeing of our employees is our top priority. We have always valued our employees’ contribution to the company and have come up with various employee-friendly policies even in the past. We are ready to roll this out as soon as the Government allows the private sector to procure these vaccines.”
