Dhanlaxmi Bank on Tuesday announced that it has appointed V. Viswanathan as the Additional Director on the Board of the Bank. His appointment was decided in the Board meeting held on December 9,2019.
As per the official press release, Viswanathan’s appointment is secured until the next Annual General Meeting.
Viswanathan has an experience of more than 32 years in State Bank of India and associate banks in branch banking, Audit & Inspection, corporate credit, forex, treasury, agriculture, rural economy and small sale industry. He retired as Chief General Manager of State Bank of Hyderabad in 2017.
He was also the CFO and GM (Treasury) of State Bank of Mysore and has also headed Retail, MSME, Agriculture, Inspection & Audit, Treasury, Risk. Viswanathan holds a post graduate degree in Science and has passed CAIIB.
