Edtech platform Simplilearn has introduced 100 free courses focused on generative AI, responding to a sharp rise in interest from learners and professionals across India’s tech sector.

The launch follows a reported 470% increase in enrollments for generative AI programs on the platform over the past year, indicating growing demand for upskilling as companies integrate AI into business operations. The free courses cover topics such as prompt engineering, GenAI product development, ethics, and domain-specific AI applications.

Simplilearn says it aims to make foundational AI education more accessible to a broader range of professionals preparing for evolving job roles.

“With generative AI reshaping tech careers, we want to equip professionals with the knowledge and tools to stay ahead,” said Krishna Kumar, Founder and CEO of Simplilearn.

The company expects the initiative to support continued workforce readiness, especially as AI-related roles gain prominence across industries in India.
