Wipro recognised as a leader in robotic process automation in healthcare and life sciences

Wipro, a leading business process, consulting and information technology company in the world, announced that it has been positioned as a Leader in The Forrester New Wave : RPA Service Providers In Healthcare, Q3 2020.

The pandemic has accelerated the adoption of automation in the health care and life sciences (HCLS) value chain. Forrester initiated this research to gain a deeper perspective on how automation projects are unfolding in the HCLS industry. The report assessed the current offering, market presence and strategy of 12 of the largest emerging service providers in robotic process automation (RPA) at HCLS.

In addition to being named a leader, Wipro received distinct rankings in intelligent automation, assisted automation, unassisted automation, HCLS automation, knowledge transfer, and business model criteria. 

The Forrester report said: “Of all the vendors evaluated [by Forrester], Wipro has the most experienced building bots for HCLS customers and in delivering automations to HCLS customers under results-based provisioning models.” The report also noted: “Clients said that Wipro is their trusted strategic advisor on new [Artificial Intelligence] (AI) technologies and emerging governance models.”

The report goes on to say, “Wipro is an all-purpose service provider; it’s a heavyweight for companies that need advice on strategic governance and who simply need a team of bot developers who want to work low risk.”
