Naukri.com, is far ahead, and has more job listings than all others combined. Delhi/NCR, happens to have the maximum job listings across Naukri, Monster, Indeed, TimesJobs.
Job portals, have always played a key role in job search for every one – from freshers, to those starting their carer, those looking at mid career transitions and at times even for senior professionals.
We decided to have a quick look around the well known job portals in India, to ascertain who has most job listings and across the key cities. For this study, we considered Naukri.com, TimeJobs.com, MonsterIndia.com, and Indeed.com (India), and job postings on these portals for the following cities were analysed – Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Delhi/NCR*, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune.

- Naukri.com, is far ahead, and has more job listings than all others combined. The total job listings on Naukri.com, across the above mentioned cities is 63.53 % of the total listings from all four portals. On the other extreme Monster has just 7.99 % of total job listings.
- Delhi/NCR, happens to have the maximum job listings ( indicating maximum jobs on offer), from among the above cities. Delhi/NCR, listings are 27.5 % of total listings across all the cities. Bangalore, comes next with 21.97 %, followed by Mumbai with 15.9 % of total job listings across these cities across the 4 job portals. Kolkata, accounts for only 5.49 % of all job listings.
- Naukri.com, happens to have most job listings in Delhi – 33.53 %, followed by Bangalore – 20.32%.
- Indeed, happens to have maximum job listings in Mumbai- 21.48 %, followed by Bangalore – 21.31%.
- TimesJobs, happens to have maximum job listings in Bangalore – 23.44 %, followed by Delhi/NCR – 23.07 %.
- Monster, has most of its listings in Bangalore – 32.08 %, followed by Mumbai – 18.85 %.
