Cognizant, an IT services company on Friday announced that it has opened a new facility in Mangaluru. This is said to be Cognizant’s fourth facility in Karnataka after Mysuru and Bengaluru.
The new 100,000sq-ft facility boasts of accommodating more than 1,100 employees. Cognizant has a long association with Mangaluru since 2011 after acquiring CoreLogic Global Services Private Limited.
Cognizant already has a center in Mangaluru with 600 professionals. From its existing center, Cognizant provides consulting, enterprise applications and business process services in the area of mortgage processing covering property taxes, research, and investigations.
The company currently employees more than 28,000 professionals in Bengaluru, 700 in Mysuru and 600 in Mangaluru.
