Massive jams are being witnessed in many parts of NCR, with barricade placed on Gurugram-Delhi borders. There has been traffic restrictions and suspension of mobile internet in some parts of Delhi to supress protests against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
The Gurugram – Delhi border is seeing heavy traffic due to security checks by Delhi Police. There also has been some amount of anxiety in NCR employees due to protests, blockage on the border and shut down of mobile internet in some parts of Delhi.

Companies in Gurugram are taking steps to ensure that their employees stay safe. Leading MNCs have issued advisories to their employees – related to the traffic scenario, metro station shut down due to protests.
It is learnt that Genpact, SAP amongst others have allowed employees to leave early today, while allowing a work from home tomorrow. Employees at BCG, KPMG, Deloitte office in Gurugram have been asked to leave for the day. IHSMarkit, has issued advisory for its employees already in office, and asked employees who are yet to get to office for mid day shift and evening shift to work from home. Accenture and EY have also allowed its teams to work from home. Some companies are also learnt to have been making arrangements for employees to stay back at office in extreme cases.
