AkzoNobel India Limited (ANIL) has announced the appointment of Rajiv Rajgopal as the Managing Director of the company, effective from November 1, 2018.
Rajiv has been with AkzoNobel since 2013, and most recently he was the Regional Director – Middle East & Africa based in Dubai. Earlier, he has held the position of Director – Decorative Paints (General Manager South Asia Decorative Paints), and Director – Sales & Marketing.
Prior to joining AkzoNobel, he was with Airtel as CEO for Kerala & TN, and CEO for Broadband & Data business. He had started his career with Unilever and had subsequently been with Castrol. Rajiv, holds an MBA from SP Jain (1993), and an engineering degree form University of Mumbai.
On Rajiv’s appointment as Managing Director, Amit Jain, Chairman, Akzo Nobel India Limited, commented:
