Broking firm Angel One Limited (formerly Angel Broking Ltd) announced the appointment of Meenal Maheshwari Shah as Group General Counsel of the company, with effect from February 1, 2024.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Schedule III and other applicable provisions of the SEBI Listing Regulations, we hereby inform you that the Nomination and Remuneration Committee had approved the appointment of Ms. Meenal Maheshwari Shah as Group General Counsel of Angel One, forming part of the Senior Management of the Company.”
Meenal Maheshwari Shah has completed her five (5) year law course from ILS College, Pune. Her area of expertise is mergers and acquisitions and setting up new businesses. She has been awarded the prestigious Chevening fellowship and has also studied artificial intelligence from the University of Oxford. She is certified data professional in both domestic and international laws from the “Foundation of Data Protection Professionals in India (FDPPI)”.
Shah is a General Counsel (India and overseas) with extensive functional experience coupled with business acumen and leadership skills, a statement said.
