Anil Dhirubhai Ambani, Chairman of the Reliance Group (including, Reliance Communications, Reliance Capital, Reliance Infrastructure, and Reliance Power), has resigned from his position as Director of Reliance Communications, along with four others. Smt. Chhaya Virani, Smt. Ryna Karani, Smt. Manjari Kacker and Shri Suresh Rangachar have tendered their resignation from the office of Director. Also, Shri Manikantan V has tendered his resignation from the office of Director and as Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
In a statement the company said that “The aforementioned resignations shall be put up to the committee of creditors of the Company for their consideration.”
On 15th Nov’19, the company reported their second quarter with net loss at Rs 30,158 crore and revenue of the company declined by 65.1%. Also, the company share ended at Rs 0.59, down Rs 0.02, or 3.28%. It has touched a 52-week low of Rs 0.58.
