Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic, a leading systems integrator that delivers innovative technology solutions to enterprises and government, has announced the appointment of Anuj Gupta, CEO, as the next Managing Director, effective from January 1st, 2021. Anuj succeeds Tarun Seth, who retires from the role of MD, effective December 31st, 2020.
Micro Clinic was founded by Tarun Seth in 1991. The company was acquired by Hitachi Systems in 2014. Seth played an instrumental role in steering the company’s 50 per cent year-over-year growth.
Under Seth’s leadership, Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic has spread to 21 offices in India, Middle East and South East Asia with over 2,000 employees, according to a statement.
“It has been an honour and privilege to lead Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic through a transformative journey. Our phenomenal growth from Rs 14.6 lakh in 1991 to Rs 1,500 crore this year (2020) is a great achievement,” Tarun Seth said. “The company’s prospects are extremely encouraging, and I look forward to a smooth transition.”
Tarun Seth added “It is the right time for Anuj to take the responsibility to lead the company. His decisive leadership and deep industry experience across the entire value chain of our business uniquely qualifies him to step into the new role seamlessly.”
Currently, Anuj Gupta is CEO of Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic. His key responsibility is to evolve the strategic direction for the company and its portfolio of offerings, while nurturing a strong leadership team to drive its execution. He has over 20 years of experience in driving sales growth in the technology industry.
