APL Apollo Group CIO Manoj Kumar resigns, joins RAY International Group

APL Apollo Group Chief Information Officer, Manoj Kumar, has moved on to join Oman-based Ray International Group as Group CIO.

In this new role, Kumar will be responsible for the group’s IT and digital domains. He will maintain the IT Division as a profitable entity and will also be looking after the IT roadmap for business growth and value addition to the top and bottom lines. From the technology side he will be working on SAP and EPICOR roll out, Business intelligence (BI) CRM & Enterprise mobility Rollout across the group. As a technology and business leader, he will be focused on enhancing the digital transformation journey across the group.

Kumar has over 20 years of experience working in diversified industry verticals. His last assignment was at APL Apollo Group as CIO where he managed the entire India IT operation and has also successfully delivered projects like SAP integration, SAP S4/HANA, Business intelligence (BI) CRM & Enterprise mobility Rollout across the group. 

Kumar holds an experience of working with companies like Jackson Group, ACME Group, Jamna Auto Industries, Asahi India, Grasim Industries, etc. He holds MCA, Computer Science from NIIT.
