Asha Kharga joins Mahindra Group as Chief Customer and Brand Officer

Mahindra Group has roped in Asha Kharga as chief customer and brand officer, effective immediately. 

Prior to this, Kharga was the executive vice president and group chief marketing officer at Axis Bank, where she was responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies that led to increased awareness, consideration and brand trust.

She had an eight year old stint with Unilever where she joined as senior brand development manager in 2008 and had reached the position of marketing director for Brooke Bond and Lipton tea by 2014 where she led and developed the strategic marketing and innovation programs.

Kharga has also worked with Leo Burnett Group as account director, JWT as account planning manager and TBWA as key account manager.

Kharga holds a Master’s degree in Management Studies, Marketing/Marketing Management, First Class from Mumbai University, and a B.Com degree from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce.
