Astrotalk, a startup that is taking astrology global, has announced the elevation of Anmol Jain to Co-founder from being the company’s Chief Business Officer.
In his new role, Anmol will handle the company’s product, finance and operations and will be responsible for expanding overseas, strategic acquisitions and team expansion, a statement said.
Prior to Astrotalk, Anmol has worked with consumer tech companies like INDMoney and WishFIN in leadership positions across product and business growth. An alum of IIT-Delhi and IIM-Calcutta, Anmol joined Astrotalk in 2021 as the Chief Business Officer. Under his leadership, the company has onboarded the best astrologers, tripled team size from 50 to 180 and optimised costs on tech infrastructure. Additionally, Anmol’s experience has helped increase the monthly transacting user base from 50,000 to 500,000, a 10X growth, while also improving the marketing funnel, resulting in 6X revenue growth and EBITDA of 19%.
Founded in 2017, Astrotalk is a bootstrapped, full-stack tech company that is taking astrology global. The company is profitable, and notably so without any external capital. Astrotalk takes pride in being an employee-first company which offers ESOPs to all its employees regardless of their designation and tenure. The senior management of the company consists of industry leaders who come from the top colleges of the country, including IITs and IIMs, according to the statement.
