Atul Limited, an integrated chemical company, announced the appointment of Pradeep Banerjee as an Independent Director of the company, with effect from May 1, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “we wish to inform you that based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board has appointed Mr Pradeep Banerjee (Director identification number: 02985965), as an Independent Director of the Company effective May 01, 2022 for a period of five years.”
Banerjee has almost 4 decades of experience in Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and Customer Service at India, London, Nepal and Singapore in Unilever group. Banerjee served as an Executive Director on the Board of Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) for almost a decade. He was also Managing Director of a joint venture of HUL in Singapore and Chairman of a joint venture in Nepal. He is Senior Advisor to BCG and is advising four interesting Tech Startups in the areas of Blockchain, Logistics. GTM Operation platforms and Waste Management. He is also Designated Partner in Pradeep Banerjee Associates LLP.
Banerjee holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
