Jairam Sridharan, Chief Financial Officer of Axis Bank, will be exiting from his role. The bank in its exchange filing informed that Sridharan has submitted his resignation and would be moving on to pursue other career opportunities. He will continue to serve as the Group Executive & Chief Financial Officer of the Bank under his notice period of three months. He had taken over the CFO role in October 2015.
In a BSE release, the bank said “The Bank places on record its appreciation for the invaluable contribution provided by Shri Jairam Sridharan during his tenure as the Group Executive & Chief Financial Officer of the Bank and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors. ”
Sridharan has about two decades of experience in the Banking & Financial Services Industry. He joined Axis Bank in June 2010 from Capital One Financial, a consumer bank based in Richmond, VA (USA). He earlier worked with ICICI Bank in their initial foray into Retail Lending businesses. Sridharan is a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi and Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Calcutta.
