Barnik Chitran Maitra appointed as Managing Partner of Arthur D. Little India

Management consulting firm Arthur D. Little recently announced the appointment of Barnik Chitran Maitra as Managing Partner of its India office.

In his new role, Barnik’s goal is to build the company’s regional footprint by serving leading institutions, ensuring a pre-eminent position for ADL in India and South Asia.

Barnik has more than two decades of experience and is a technology expert, Silicon Valley investor, board advisor, published author and a renowned speaker.

Barnik started his career in 2000 as a trainee at Procter & Gamble. His most successful stint was as a long-standing Partner at McKinsey & Company.

During his 14 years at the company, Barnik led the India Strategy & Corporate Finance practice, oversaw advisory for several multinationals, and served as part of the founding team that expanded McKinsey’s global footprint in Asia and Africa. Over the years he has counseled CEOs and senior executives of Fortune 500 companies, invested in and scaled early-stage technology start-ups in India and the US, authored numerous articles and served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.
