Former Senior Vice President of HR at PI Industries, Biswarup Goswami has recently moved to a new role as the Chief Human Resources Officer(CHRO) at GHCL Ltd (formerly Gujarat Heavy Chemicals).
An industry veteran, Goswami has more than two decades of experience in the human resources field. Prior to joining PI Industries as Senior Vice President-HR, Goswami was working with Laxmi Organic Industries as President-HR and Chief Transformation Officer.
A Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) alumnus, Goswami started his career with Tata Iron and Steel Co. (TISCO) and served with them for five years. He has also worked with Philips India as the head-HR for India and Pakistan, for six years before moving on to Bharti Airtel.
In July 2006, Goswami took the helm of the HR function at Bharti Airtel’s AES and realty divisions, where he was responsible for handling the full gamut of HR function ranging from strategic HR planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and engagement.
