Netflix has roped in Chris V D Schoor as HR Director for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Prior to this, he was VP – HR & O at Accedo.tv.
Chris V D Schoor, HR Director – EMEA, Netflix, said, “After close to five exciting and very rewarding years at Accedo.tv, my last week as Accedonian has begun… It has been great to see the company and its wonderful people grow and evolve over the years, and it has been a privilege to have been part of that journey!
“Soon, I will start my new journey at Netflix as HR Director for EMEA Productions. So staying in the industry, but moving from technology to content. Very excited to get started!” Schoor announced in a post.
Being an experienced HR professional, Schoor’s expertise lies in Talent Management, Talent Acquisition/Recruitment, Succession Planning, Process Design and Business Partnering.
In his previous stints, Schoor had worked with Ingersoll Rand, Centric, and Acision.
Schoor holds an MSc degree in Programme Organisation Studies with a special focus on Organisational Behaviour, Organisational Network Strategies & Alliances, and Base of the Pyramid strategies from Tilburg University.
