Dr. John Cherian has joined Continental Group International as Chief Technology Officer. Headquartered in UAE, Continental represents several of the world’s leading insurance and financial institutions.
In this new role, Cherian will be responsible to enhance customer experience with new technologies. He will be focused on adding value to the digital transformation journey which the company has embarked on for 2 decades.
“My vision for the company is to bring in efficiency in our operations by digitalization and Automation and which eventually help improve the customer experience. Also, bring in value from the huge customer data we have in our systems. My strategy will keep the human factor intact while making operations more intelligent, efficient, and digital,” Cherian told ETCIO.
Prior to this role, Cherian had worked with Honeywell as IT Director and Business Partner- Honeywell Building Solutions- Europe and META. As a global IT leader, he has served a stint of 8 years at Philips and moved on from the company as IT Director & Head of IT, Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. Apart from this, Cherian has worked with several global companies such as NetApp, Ocwen Financial solutions, and more.
Cherian has completed his higher education from IIM-Calcutta and Columbia Business School.
