D Shiv Kumar, has quit Nokia after a 8 year stint with the company. He recently holds the role of Operations Head role for for India, Middle East and Africa, based at Dubai. He will continue in his present role till June 2013. He was elevated to this role in October 2011 as a part of the restructuring of the company’s global sales operations. Prior to getting into a global role he was serving as India business head.
He is an alumni of IIT Chennai and IIM Bangalore, and has had over 2 decades of career with an experience in sales, marketing and general management. He has worked with Unilever and Philips in his earlier roles. Prior to joining Nokia in 2006, he served as Vice President of Philips Electronics India Limited.
