Deepak Kapoor, Chairperson, Governing Council, Save the Children, India (registered Bal Raksha Bharat) has been elected to the Board of Save the Children International as a Member Elected External Director effective February 2022 for a two-year term through a democratic process.

Indians and Indian origin leaders are increasingly assuming significant global positions. And it is a matter of pride that our chair now enjoys the confidence and respect of an international board to resolutely serve the most deprived and marginalised children not only for India but for the Global South as a whole,” shares Sudarshan Suchi, CEO, Save the Children, India.
Deepak Kapoor has a strong perspective to the development issues. He has a diverse and commendable experience working with PwC for nearly four decades. He has also served as the Chairman of the PwC India Foundation, according to the statement.
